A lovely sunny, very clean, double bedroom with a small balcony. Bright, south facing, comfortable and well appointed. It has excellent storage solutions. This includes triple size mirror wardrobes, large underbed storage, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. Also a 36 inch Smart TV. In addition there are 8 USB C, and 4 USB charging points many socket points, plus super fast 1GB full fibre optic broadband. There are 2 bathrooms, and an extra separate toilet in the house.

PLEASE NOTE: Bermondsey tube station does not show up on the Spareroom "Find on map" function, unless you zoom in.

AREA WELL CONNECTED BY; TUBE (Bermondsey/Jubilee line) and many BUS services connecting to West End, Southbank, City, Stratford, Elephant and Castle, Camden, Hampstead, Peckham, Greenwich, Lewisham and more.

15 mins walk to Tower Bridge, 20 mins to London Bridge and Borough. We're very central indeed.

LOCAL HIGHSTREET AMENITIES;
Tesco/Iceland/Savers/Chemists/Hardware/ Bakers/ Market Sq /fruit and veg shops/ A Post Office/Huge 24 hr Corner shop/ and 24 hr Puregym 5 mins away. Also beautiful Southwark Park and Bermondsey Beach both 7mins walk.

............ ABOUT US ...............

Current residents are:

(1) Myself, the landlord, Damien (English) 55yrs formerly a Biochemistry graduate from UCL, and British Airways Cabin Crew for 30 yrs, now retired.
Then there's;
(2) My Partner of 21 yrs Tomasz, (Polish), an excellent freelance graphic designer and Electronics Grad.
(3) Lewis, (English), a Barman in Canary Wharf, who is also an actor with a degree in performing arts.
(4) Naglas,(Lithuanian), 25yrs who is a Psychology student, and a barman in Mayfair.
(5) Gabriel (Brazilian) 28yrs who works as a Carpenter/Fitter. He's very handy to have around.

We're a very friendly 50/50 gay and straight mixed household. We're respectful, supportive and reasonably social. We thoroughly enjoy a chat over a beer or 3 playing Monopoly, card games, film nights or awful reality TV and sometimes we like to have our own space, and we respect this

we're not in eachothers pockets, so we respect your needs for your own space and personal privacy too. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT a drug or a party house it's a quiet, clean, respectful home and a safe space we all enjoy.

(1) We're all working full time, mixed 9 to 5 and 24 hr shift patterns.
(2) This is first and formost our home not a bedsit or a hostel atmosphere.
(3) 6 months min contract but really want someone looking longer-term ideally.
(4) No couples. One person per room, sorry guys.
(5) No pets.

(1) Looking for someone in full time work. Not WFH or hybrid working
(2) Maturity (in one's behaviour not age necessarily)
(3) Good sense of humour, who's very clean and tidy and respectful of both personal space and shared areas respectively.
(4) Willingness to engage in a cleaning rota 1hr per week.
(5) Someone who wants a longer term home not an ok for now!
