Hi everyone!

I am renting a beautiful, large room in a 3-storey terrace house next to Mile End station.

The house is a large, newly built 3-storey house near Tredegar Square in Bow. There are 3 bathrooms (2 en-suites and one shared). You would be sharing a bathroom with a great, respectful, and clean flatmate.

The other flatmates work in development (EDRB) and accounting (KPMG). They’re all lovely and like to cook (and share!). Hiro (33) is from Japan and he likes cooking, sports, and hiking. Erica (31) is Italian and cooks the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. She is very active, cycles to work, and enjoys hiking. Falguni (24) is from India but has lived in the UK for years. She is a great cook, and enjoys dancing.

The landlord owns 8 houses that are connected and the neighbours are very friendly and there is a great sense of community, which is rare in London. In the summer, there have been joint BBQs and also the occasional pub night (organised through a group chat with all tenants in the houses).

The flat has a great outdoor garden and essentially two lounges - one attached for the kitchen and another second one on the first floor.

Additionally, there is a utility room to dry clothes which is great as they dry fast and aren’t out in the open.

The house has under-floor heating, which is great on cold days.

The room comes with furnished with a double bed, desk, and chest of drawers. The house itself has plenty of storage (including under the stairs for luggage).

The house is located 2 mins from Mile End station, which has the district, hammersmith and city, and central lines!

There is a Tesco and Coop both within a 5 minute walk of the house. It’s one tube stop away from Westfield Stratford in case you need to shop, and close to Victoria Park, which is great for walks and outdoor enjoyment.

Tredegar Square is cited by agents as the best address in East London. The house’s facia echoes the old Victorian warehouse and is built using its bricks with one wall still standing - now a garden wall. The interior is spacious and modern with vaulted floor to ceiling windows. Energy bills are low due to great insulation and solar panels.

The ground floor boasts a large kitchen/dining area with granite countertops, a dishwasher, electric job and a washer/dryer. The dining area has french windows opening onto the south facing garden with outdoor tables and chairs.

On the first floor, there is a large living room with double, full-length windows. A large garage is available for storage by separate arrangement if required.
