Hello everyone, myself (Ciara) & my housemate Peter are in the hunt for a new housemate.

The current occupier of the room is moving out with his partner.

I am from Ireland, 28, and am a transgender woman. I work full time from home and I am a DJ on the weekends. Don’t let that scare you, afters or crazy parties are rare here! Although we have friends over and like to socialise. I have been living since April 2024.

Peter works in events, is from Australia and is 35. He has been in this house for four years :)

We both like sports, Peter loves food, I love music, and both enjoy a pint!

Ideally we’re looking for someone who is friendly, sociable, clean, respects boundaries and is just a nice vibe to be around! It is critical that you are LGBTQ+ friendly :)

About the house, we have a lovely front balcony looking over Essex Road, and a back rooftop for bbqs during the summer. The room available is on the second floor of the house, right near the bathroom. We have one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. One shower. A nice big living room and kitchen. The heating is good also.

In terms of location we are a 10 min walk from Angel station and 15 min walk from Islington station. Across the road there are bus stops that will take you to central London in 20 minutes or basically anywhere. Since moving in I have found myself getting the tube much less. We are a 20 minute walk from Dalston also.

We do live above a bar, it can get quite loud on Thursday - Saturday. I find it ok but Peter does struggle with it so it might vary from person to person.
