One double bedroom has become available, in our Victorian terrace in Loughborough, walking distance to the University and to the town centre. The area is very quiet. We, the owners, are Viviana (51, former teacher) and Paul (65, retired teacher). We won’t be spending in the house more than 3 months in total in a year and our accommodation is in the attic.
The rear room has been taken by Jacob, a final year PhD student in Mathematics.
The available front room is on the first floor, and has a double bed with a very good mattress, a desk, a chair a good size wardrobe, storage room under the bed, full length mirror and an armchair.
There is a huge bathroom on the same floor, with double jacuzzi bathtub/shower, sink, toilet, bidet, storage cabinets.
On the same floor there is also a small bedroom which we mainly use for storage.
The house has a very nice kitchen with a table and chairs, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a tumble drier, a gas hob, a big four door fridge freezer, an electric oven, a microwave, a slow cooker, an espresso maker and several cupboards. All appliances and kitchen items are shared.
There is a sitting room with a 3 seat and a 2 seat sofa, 1 armchair, a working Victorian fireplace, TV (with Cable) and a dining room with a piano.
Downstairs there is a shower room with toilet and sink.
The 2 lodgers would have the house to themselves the majority of their stay.
We have a lovely garden, with a bench, two tables and chairs, hammocks, and 3 sheds for bikes etc.
There's fast Wifi throughout the house and garden, and central heating throughout the house.
All bills (gas, electricity, broadband, TV licence and Council Tax) are included. There is free parking available on the street.
Bed linen and towels, pillows, and duvets (summer and winter togs) are provided.
We would like our lodgers to be quiet between 11.30 p. m. and 7.30 a. m. We have great neighbours both sides with whom we get on really well.
We really would like someone who doesn't smoke at all.
