With idyllic views of Manchester's skyline and a beautiful park. The apartment is incredibly light and airy, especially in the mornings. Very well insulated - we have never had to put the heating on even in the Winter months.
The bedroom: Newly painted, so very fresh and airy. Fitted blinds, spot lights and well placed plug sockets. Standard carpet but easy to keep clean. A very large room overall, I have brought my own shelving unit and desk, which fit great with room to spare.
The room itself comes with: double bed and mattress, large wardrobe with double rail, chest of draws and two bedside tables.
Bathroom: My housemate has the room with an en-suite, so the main bathroom is essentially exclusively used by myself. The bathroom has a large bath/shower combo, and is furnished to a high standard. The water pressure is very powerful and water heats up instantly.
Communal spaces: We have a large open plan kitchen/dining/living room. Full size dining room table with chairs, two (really comfy) sofas, a media unit and coffee table - all included. We have also put in storage for vinyls and blurays and it is still a very large space (they will be gone once I move out).
Very large kitchen, with a lot of workshop space, large fridge/freezer, sink with drainer, electric stove top. Juliet balcony overlooks overlooks gorgeous park, which is currently filled with blooming trees.
The flat comes with a washer and a dishwasher. We don't have a dryer, but clothes tend to dry in less than a day.
Broadband: we have both Fibre 2.4Gz for everyday usage and 5Gz for gaming and other high intensity streaming.
The building: Kept very clean and fresh, lift is cleaned weekly and carpets hoovered in hallways. All tennants are very mindful and there is never any noise disturbance or loud music playing through the night. (Even during New Years Eve while people were having parties, couldn't hear a thing). Lift access.
Plenty of parking available both undercover and open. Never have to fight for a space. Car park is locked with a coded gate, and the same goes for all pedestrian gates. Very secure, with coded door into the building. Key locked postboxes and space for parcels to be left.
Location: perfect for anyone working in Media City or in the alike City Centre, as the tram stop is about 20 steps away. Walk 10 minutes and you will find beautiful quayside walks and open water. Perfect for joggers/runners/casual strollers anytime of the year. Also great location for students at Salford Uni, Manchester Met and University of Manchester.
Amenities: Tram stop 0.1 miles away, 50 bus stop 10 mins walk, private road leads straight onto Regent Road, perfect for getting out of the city with ease and minimal traffic. Leisure/Sports centre 3 Mins walk away and the Helly Hanson Watersports centre 10 mins. A few restaurants/bars within walking distance, i. e The Matchstick Man (they do some really good food), Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito and of course all that's on offer in Media City (Wagamama's, Botanist, The Alchemist etc).
Shops: Corner shop 0.1 miles away, really friendly staff, great deals and have made extra effort to be accommodating during Lockdown. Greggs. Subway. Co-op, indie coffee shops/barbers. Kebab shop and a Tesco extra.
Local Venues: a 10 minute walk to United's Old Trafford and 5 minute Manchester Victoria Warehouse and Hotel.
I love this flat so much, but have to move out due to work commitments. I will really miss the location and views.
