Bohemian Muswell Hill offers a strong sense of community, is one of the most beautiful parts of London and offers easy access into Central London. The house is a few minutes walk to Alexandra Palace - and Highgate Wood and Hampstead Heath are also in walking distance.

This friendly, safe, six-bedroom 1930s semi-detached home offers many refurbished shared spaces inside and out to relax in. You would also have your own dedicated parking space on the driveway if needed.

The compact double bedroom on offer is furnished rooms with good-sized external window overlooking the front. The room has just been refurbished. Further redecorating is currently taking place elsewhere in the home.

All bills, fast broadband and cleaning of communal areas are included in the rent. Your choice of a wide selection of furniture can go in the rooms, including a choice of different bed sizes. The house has very good central heating throughout.

There is a brand new adjacent bathroom (pictured) which features a good-sized bath and large walk in shower.

Suitable for a person of any background who is mostly working outside of the home during standard office hours during the week. Given the size of the room, this would not suit someone who works from home.

The room would most likely suit a young-ish person who is studying or working outside of the home a lot. We currently have a young student from overseas lodging with us in another room.

The room is not suitable for cat or dog owners or those who have v regular overnight guests though. We have a friendly dog and two cats, but they mainly reside outside in the huge back garden during the day so would not bother you..

The recently renovated property is huge and features big gardens at front and rear, unrestricted off-street parking on the big driveway - and various living spaces. There are no restrictions on parking on the street too.

The shared spaces include a very large open plan kitchen/lounge/ dining areas - two with TVs. There is also another living room the lodger could use if required.

You would be sharing this relaxed and friendly family home with two adults (who live on top floor), two mature teenagers and another lodger or two..

We would also consider a Monday to Friday let at a discounted rate.

The bedroom features a bed, chest of drawers, clothes rack, bookshelf, desk and just outside the door is a fridge, convection oven/microwave, toaster, kettle etc. so are virtually self-contained.

There are three bathrooms in the house (though the room does not feature an en suite - the lodger has easy access to a brand new large bathroom).

The size of the house and back garden means that it is always possible to find a private living /chilling space.

We are offering for rent a small double bedroom in our newly renovated six-bed semi-detached home, which features a large extension / living space with open plan kitchen as well as another living space at the front and two new bathrooms. The property also features a big driveway allowing off-street parking and long, wide garden.

The house is very close (a few mins walk) to Alexandra Palace with its myriad of activities and stunning views of the city - as well as Muswell Hill shops, restaurants and bars (5 min walk). Hampstead Heath is a short drive away and Highgate Wood is a 15-minute walk away.


It has good transport links: it is a few minutes by bus or a short walk to Alexandra Palace rail station and Bounds Green tube (15-20 mins into central London on the Piccadilly Line). You can also take a bus to Highgate and East Finchley tube stations (Northern Line) or take a bus into town from Muswell Hill Broadway. You can also take a nearby bus into town.

The weekly rental price includes all bills, Sky TV and wifi.
