I have completely refurbished my flat and I am looking for a flatmate as my previous flatmate moved back home. I am a professional male who works in the finance team for a translation company. My favourite drink is Jameson and my favourite food is chinese. I enjoy cooking and meeting new people.
I am also passionate about coffee and roast my own coffee at home. Please note that the kitchen will sometimes smell of freshly roasted coffee so if this bothers you then this probably isn't the flat for you (it isn't that overpowering and the smell usually goes away after a few hours). If you enjoy coffee you would benefit from having freshly roasted coffee and use of my de'longhi bean to cup coffee machine.
The flat is situated in Slateford, Edinburgh which is right by the corn exchange. It's around 10 minutes on the bus to Haymarket or you can walk in 25 mins. Bus options by the flat are 4/44/34/35/300 and if you walk 5 mins you can access the 3/25/30/3/38/20 buses too.
The flat has free on-street parking.
There is a 24hr Asda, Aldi, Lidl, M&S, Costa, Gregg's, and Dominos right by the flat.
The room now has a desk and is suitable for working from home. I will be working from home for at least the next 6 months so if you are too it would be nice to keep the living room as a relax space and we both work from our bedrooms.
The wardrobe space is very large with more drawers inside.
High speed wifi is available all over the flat. I do like technology so I have a robot Hoover and Amazon Echoes dotted about which are very handy when cooking.
You - male or female, professional or student, I'm easy and have lived with both. Someone that is clean and tidy is a must. Wipe the worktops down after cooking and be respectful of the property and we'll get along fine. I'm also looking for someone that's sociable but also likes some time to themselves. I would also consider Mon-Fri lets.
