I am looking for a female lodger in a gorgeous, newly refurbished 3-bedroom home. The house has a very generous amount of space, with bedrooms and communal spaces kept apart, so that no one feels on-top of each other.
Please get in touch with a message about yourself to arrange a viewing.
There are two rooms available, so there will potentially 3 people living at the house at one time.
ABOUT ME
I am a female live-in-landlord. I work as an Interior Designer in Derby and run my own art business in my spare time. I like to keep fit, go out on my bike and cook.
OTHER HOUSEMATES
Other housemates will be mature students or working professionals who are friendly, tidy and respectful.
I AM LOOKING FOR
My ideal lodger would be either a young professional or mature / postgraduate student that is friendly and respectful in a shared living arrangement. I keep the communal spaces very clean & tidy and share cleaning tasks, and would expect you do the same. There is a friendly atmosphere in the house and I would like someone who can fit in with this. I would like to meet you and show you around before we agree to live together - this is a chance to check our schedules and lifestyles are compatible. During lock-down this can be done on video call.
ROOM 1
Largest room in the house. This room comes with a double bed, large triple wardrobe, desk and shelving.
ROOM 2 - TAKEN
This room has a double bed, triple wardrobe, desk and shelving.
SHARED SPACE
The communal areas include a spacious, cosy living room, a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom, an additional separate WC and a reasonably sized outside patio space. There are new floors and carpets throughout the house. I will expect a lodger to share the weight of keeping these areas as clean and comfortable as possible. I have smart-phone / voice controlled heating and Netflix, Amazon, and Catch-up Channel Apps on the TV which you are welcome to use.
LOCATION
The house is perfectly placed between the City Centre, The University of Nottingham and The QMC- all are within walking distance.
PARKING
There is on-street parking should you have a vehicle. This requires a permit, which can be easily applied for through the council. Students must pay for a permit and those paying council tax can apply for one for free.
BILLS / AMENITIES
- Washing Machine
- Communal TV - with Netflix/amazon/catchup
- 50Mb Wireless Internet
- Smart Phone Controlled Heating System
- Smart Phone controlled Alarm System
Bills are split evenly between those living in the house. The current cost is £60 per month. When we do not spend this amount with less gas/electric consumption I am able to refund the difference. Council Tax is included in the rental price. I am not able to refund this for students as the house is not eligible for a discount with non-students living here.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
