A good sized double room in a 4-person houseshare close to OU and hospital. Current respectful, quiet and very pleasant late 20s/early 30s sharers (2 friendly Spanish males students working at Ikea, 1 Polish forensic science student) are looking for similar housemates (no couples, sorry) who are tidy, considerate and not noisy!

The rooms are nicely furnished with big comfortable double bed, chest of drawers, large wardrobe, bedside table, desk, etc. Excellent value - price includes ALL BILLS: utilities, council tax and unlimited wireless fast FIBRE broadband.

Located on the edge of Netherfield (OU side) - ideal for the Open University. Bus 25 goes direct to the OU in about 5 minutes from the main road a few minutes walk away, or some students have cycled (about 10 mins) or walked (about 25 minutes) as there is a direct red-route pathway. Cranfield university is also accessible via bus 52 in about half an hour. See more about location later ... Also served by bus 1 going toward stadium and Bletchley and 5/5a to MK centre.

Shared kitchen / diner with a WASHER-DRYER, large FRIDGE FREEZER + another freezer, MICROWAVE and cooker. Everything you need is included - crockery, pans, iron and ironing board etc. Patio doors from the kitchen to the garden with a paved area for BBQs and drying clothes etc. House has tiled bathroom with bath and shower, and an additional WC.

Click "Get directions" and put in the postcode MK6 4HX in box A and Walton Drive, Milton Keynes for the OU in box B, then press the picture of the man - this will show the walking /cycling route. The OU is about 1 mile away if you go by the paths, or about 1. 5 miles by road.

If you are not familiar with Milton Keynes, the house is in one of the older areas, and so it is not the tidiest and smartest area - as you see from the picture in the ad, it is a 3 storey, quite boxy-looking house. The area has a lot of rented houses, because it is close to the university and hospital - which may explain why there are not too many pretty gardens at the front of the houses - not too many post-grad students are keen gardeners:-) However, the good thing is that the rooms are a reasonable size (unlike some of the rooms in the new houses in MK which are tiny), the location is quite central for the and hospital, and it is great value.

Smoking outside only is OK.

Fees are low, just to cover costs. Referencing fee £45 plus deposit is required at entry, £60 exit fee, but nothing more (no other inventory/admin/contract/check in/out fees that are often charged).
Short-term let possible (less than 6 months)at +10%, plus £95 reletting /admin fee.
