Looking for a housemate to share with one other: preferably someone sociable, who wants to live with a growing teenage Selkirk Rex kitten as well. He is a social and affectionate boy who likes to interact. The spacious double room for rent is freshly painted, clean and light. I aim for the house to be a home for both who are living there and for any guests who visit or stay. I am a health professional who is independent, friendly, tidy and considerate - and would expect similar. I prefer to live with someone who also gets out of the house sometimes and not someone only working from home. I work fairly long hours but I also have a lot of sporting, social and other commitments so I'm out and about a lot.
The house is spacious and modernised with built in kitchen and modern appliances (including a quiet washing machine). Downstairs is open plan living and dining. There is no TV but there’s fibre broadband. The room for rent is furnished with a double bed and brand new mattress. It has ample storage – wardrobe with storage on top, large chest of drawers, and an underbed drawer. There's also room for a desk if needed. The house has a shower room and a separate toilet. There’s a lawn and a garden which I maintain to a high standard, with a BBQ and outdoor table and chairs. The rent includes all utility bills, WiFi and cleaning products.
The property is secure and there is cover for bikes outside. There isn’t extra car parking, but permit parking can be arranged through the council. Headington shops are not far away (also bus stops for London and the airports). The house is in a quiet cul de sac and very close to the Nuffield, Churchill and Warneford hospitals.
