About the flat and room:

It’s a 3 bedroom flat located on the third floor. The room is a medium sized double, it comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, as well as shelves and a storage unit. If you have some of your own furniture, we can work something out too. The room doesn’t come with a desk but would have enough space to put one in there if you need it for study/work. Rent is 550 per month and a deposit of 550 will be required upon moving in. Bills are not included in the rent and are managed by us (the tenants) which come to around 70 pounds per month. The flat is looked after by a lady who is definitely the nicest landlord I have ever had in London (and I do not say this lightly). Although we moved in recently, she’s been a pleasure to deal with and really cares about the property. Your deposit will be protected under the deposit protection scheme.

We are paying council tax (note to students as this is not a student only household therefore we are not exempt).

Move in date is between September 21st and October 6th roughly but can be discussed. Mostly just want to find the right person!

The pictures are not the best as at the moment there’s a lot of boxes in the room so I’ll update with better ones once I can.

I have lived in this area for a few years now and can honestly say it has got everything you need. There are quick bus connections into central, the heart of Peckham is a short walk away, we have shops like Asda, Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, B&M close by. Tube and overground stations can be reached by a short bus ride or a little walk.

About us:

You’d be living with the two of us: myself and Guoda. We’re both 23, I currently study Journalism and work in hospitality. Guoda is a recent History of Art graduate currently doing some freelance work while looking for something more permanent. We love reading, films, plants (as you can probably tell from the pictures of the living room), going on walks, chill nights with tea and wine, trashy and good tv, music, all that jazz. I’m a veggie so if you’re veggie/vegan, hello - let’s share snacks.

We like to do our own thing but also spend time together when we can. Definitely not a big party household, although we do like to have little get togethers/dinners with friends sometimes.

We would like a girl/non-binary person as our third flatmate. We are LGBT friendly and embrace cultural diversity. The flat is a safe space for people with mental health struggles as well.

Smoking is okay on the outside balcony area.
