Large double room in a split-level flat in Penge with easy-going housemates.

The room is quiet, at the back of the house, with a view out to the almshouses.

We're a mixed (Straight/LGBT) household, people are friendly but relaxed - it's a nice balance of goodwill and space. Some of us work away but even when everyone is in, the flat never feels crowded.

Council Tax and broadband are included in the rent, other bills come to about £40 a month (gas/electric quarterly, water six-monthly, TV licence annually).

Penge is green, pretty quiet, we're on the same road as Penge East station (trains to Victoria 17mins), and 6 or 7 minutes from Penge West (overground and trains to London Bridge 20mins). Crystal Palace park is 8-10 minutes walk and there are buses 2 minutes away on the main road.

The flat is furnished but it's optional - the landlord is laid-back plus we have a loft so anything can be stored away.
