Large double room to share in a lovely peaceful home with myself. I am Fine Art lecturer/artist (49) with broad interests in arts and humanities...including music , philosophy and Buddhism, regularly practicing meditation/ mindfulness.

The house is in a very quiet, friendly street, right next to the green clough area in Prestwich ,with lots of lovely walks through woods, stables and fields.
I've lived here for just a few years, but am already really settled; having formed good friendships with my neighbours, who've made me feel very welcome.

Its a great little street tucked away from hustle and bustle of main high street but within easy short walk of the village.

Prestwich Village with shops, bars, restaurants & Village Greens (an organic food co-operative) is just a few minutes walk away. The tram station connecting to city centre is also very close, about 10mins walk, 12mins to Manchester Victoria Station/Central Manchester.

Communal areas include sharing lounge, bathroom and kitchen.
There is also a large garden area at the back, if you are a keen gardener and would like to grow things, be more than happy for you to cultivate what you wish...within reason !

I'm looking for someone preferably a woman who appreciates a calm peaceful home, sociable but also likes there own space.
I will be lecturing part time, sometimes in my studio but in general am in the house quite a bit. Welcome professionals but also mature / international students undertaking postgraduate/doctoral study looking for quiet relaxing home in which to live and study.
