Hi! I'm looking for a new flatmate to join my flat in Stepney Green E1!

The room is an unfurnished double ensuite (you have your own shower/wc), and comes with a built-in wardrobe.
The floor has a light carpet and the walls are white. It's super quiet as the windows are modern double-glazing.

My flatmate is moving out in November and I'm hoping to find a new flatmate to renew the tenancy with :)

Flat details:
A light and airy modern newly-built 5th-floor flat with security/concierge. Open-plan kitchen/dining and living room (my old flatmate will take some of her furniture/furnishings so I'm open to redecorating!).
The living room has balcony access to great views of the City of London and nature. The sunsets are spectacular. There's space to exercise on the balcony, but also space to chill out/wind down.

The utilities are not included, but are pretty decent, with super fast fibre optic broadband. Other utilities include water, heating energy (which is water heating + underfloor) and electric. The flat is fully under-floor heated, and each room has a separate thermostat (so no need to fight over the heating!). The flat is council tax band D (with student discount - or free if you are a student too!)

The flat has elevator access. There is a gym that you can sign up to use for a one-time payment of £30.

There is a separate utility cupboard with a washer/dryer and a coats/jackets cupboard. There is also a storage cupboard that is used for suitcases and larger things.

About me:
I'm a final year PhD student at QMUL doing stuff with AI and Music. I work from home in my room sometimes, but I'm super close to my office - so will try to go in more ;). My work schedule is Mon-Fri normally but can be relaxed depending on where I am in my research. I normally get up to different activities at the weekend (which you are more than welcome to join if you want!).

I'm a chill flatmate (very clean!) and would appreciate someone who's also laid-back and easygoing. I enjoy socialising and am happy to play games/do fun activities, but I also (like everyone) appreciate my alone time sometimes :) I'm happy for you to invite friends over and always love a good dinner party/fun vibes! I have a digital piano in the living room which you're more than welcome to use.

Area details:
The flat is based in the heart of Stepney Green. The area is super nice with access to a lot of things. It's very close to the City Farm (which does great coffee and cakes!). Stepney Green and Limehouse stations are 10 minutes walk away (20 minutes walk to Mile End). The 339 bus to Bethnal Green also travels here and the 309 to Stratford. It's also really close to Mile End Park and the canals, which are great for running/rock climbing/gym/swimming. It's 10 minutes walk from QMUL and also the river + Tescos/Sainsburys.
