Our house is a warm and welcoming professional home. The smart basement room is like Marmite - you either love it or hate it. Is has been let continuously since 1987 and the longest resident lived there 10 years as they loved it's privacy. It has recently been redecorated and new carpet fitted. Please note that the ceiling and ceiling height is lower than a normal room and the window is in the roof to let light in. The room is quiet and peaceful. It has an electric radiator that can be controlled by your phone via Bluetooth. As the room is below ground level it is warm in the winter time and cool in summer. There are 2 extractor fans at each end of the room to keep air moving so it maintains fresh feeling. There is a hanging rail across the width of the room which gives double the storage of a wardrobe but a wardrobe can be supplied if preferred. There is a large communal lounge with 2 large sofas and cable TV with full package. There is a separate conservatory for eating/working/drying clothes. There is a large fully boarded loft with fixed loft ladder to access the storage for any excess property. There is a lockable garden shed at the rear for bike storage which has lighting and power. The house is about four minutes walk to Kew Gardens tube. The room would suite a single male/female. Facilities include Virgin Media cable TV with full channels package, 100MB internet access in the basement, gas CH, washing machine x2, dryer, lots of fridge/freezer space, microwave etc. Refs and deposit required.
