Period property with a modern refurbished bedroom.
Room has a new double wallbed that can be left down as a bed, or you can within 5 seconds create a lot more floor space by putting back up.
The room has a small modern basin, though do not worry there is a new bathroom as well.
There is a fitted wardrobe, shelf unit, wooden storage unit, and storage above the bed, together with a small table and chair available.
Its super bright and south facing.
Property: “think cottage style with tall ceilings and good light”.
There is a central space which houses the kitchen (washer/dryer, microwave, cooker, fridge etc) & sitting room, television and eating area which has the light of a window and skylight and an outside space.
The three bedrooms are spread along the flat, so you do not feel crammed on top of each other. A fully tiled bathroom has modern units, bath & shower. I have a basin in my room and in general get up a little after others so there is no pressure on the bathroom. The flat has its own front door and you access it via a Security Gate with Intercom.
Living: I like to live in a chilled, friendly space, living with someone who is tidy and clean.
Myself: A lifestyle journalist. I work in the creative world so go to events, travel and love a good film.
What I am looking for: I do not quantify age but mature in attitude and tidy and clean. It's definitely meant to be your home where you feel at ease and welcome.
Many say the flat is cosy and creative in feel.
Rent includes bills (gas, electricity, television license, broadband, council tax and cleaning materials)
Putney as a place to live: Some will know the area and others may well just have been recommended it or are totally new. I think many may be interested to know about some of the basic amenities and feel and what the transport links are like. Putney is an affluent area that still has its feet on the ground meaning there are lots of nice homes but without thinking it’s too big for its boots. It’s like living in a town within London.
Amenities:
- Sport/Fitness- Leisure Centre with large pool, fitness and yoga 1 minute away, Tennis Clubs and Courts within 10 minutes walk, Rowing Clubs 15 minutes walk, lots of Yoga, Fitness Clubs and Rugby, Cricket and Football pitches and clubs within 25 minutes walk
- Walks – Putney has a range of lovely walks through Putney Common, to the river, and parks next door.
- Shopping- There is a new shopping centre being built and a range of new shops, mainly being on Lower and Upper Richmond Road and the High Street so all within a 15 minute walk. There are 2 Sainsbury’s, 1 Tesco, and 2 Waitrose, along with lots of independent shops, hairdressers, Boots, WHSmith, Jigsaw, Paperchase and many more.
- Restaurants/Pubs – There are a huge amount of all of these offering a massive range of styles and budgets.
