We have a room to rent in our large family house in Sidcup.

The room is on the ground floor at the back of the house and is fully furnished. It includes plenty of storage and hanging space and a small desk.
The room is newly decorated, and the carpet, bed, mattress and bedding are all brand new. There is also a large flat screen TV in the room including a recordable BT TV box, BT Sports, Netflix etc. and wifi.
There is use of a shared bathroom and shared sitting room which has French doors onto the garden. You are welcome to use the garden and patio area. Street parking is restricted but a permit can be obtained from the council. There are some free parking spaces at the end of the road.
The room includes own kitchen with cooker, new microwave, slimline dishwasher and other electrical appliances-own fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, radio. Basic cookware is also included as well as crockery and cutlery. There is a small breakfast bar and stool.
There is shared use of washing machines and dryers.
We have a garage and other storage areas that may be able to accommodate additional belongings if needed.
Weekly cleaning of room and all shared areas is included in the price.
We have two cats.
The house is situated on a quiet residential street within easy distance of Sidcup Station (approx. 11 mins walk- with great connections to central London- fast trains take 17 mins to London Bridge) and Sidcup High Street (approx. 7 mins walk) for pubs, restaurants and a large supermarket. The area is well served by numerous bus routes.

The room would suit someone working locally or in London, or a student as there are several colleges nearby.
We would consider someone who was interested in Monday to Friday only and this could be reflected in the rent.

We are a couple who both work locally as teachers. Also in the property are our teenage children who live here or stay regularly. It is a very large house so there is plenty of space for everyone!
