I am Karim, but feel free to call me Kaz, I’m a British Anglo Egyptian. I have a lovely bright quirky top floor apartment In Paddington/ Lancaster gate as a central London base.

About the apartment: we have 2 furnished spacious bedrooms available, they are somewhat basic but will come fully furnished to your exact requirements, a living room which also doubles as a project cookery podcasting studio (when time permits), a small but charming vaulted dining area which is perfect for dinner parties decorated with fairly lights. The loft is huge so plenty of storage if need be. The kitchen is basic but works with washing machine and dishwasher but may get a tumble dryer. I am here most of the time and own a mobile private creperie business and my parents live locally, I grew up here so know the area very well and love it and hopefully can show you everything that I love about it.

Preferably I am looking for 2 young at heart (not at once please!) but mature sharers to join me here long term and to become good enjoyable house mates and friends! People who I hope will invite to live with me here at this cool flat long term. Please if you’re under 27 please be aware I am 41 and as immature as I am if you can’t dig that having integrity doesn’t just mean humouring or hanging out with grand pa for one sec and then leaving a pile of stinking dishes or somehow ignoring that the toilet paper is missing, then it’s probably not for you. But otherwise if you’re 43 or 23 and appear mature but have a youthful vibe, not in a dying rush to move and happy to sincerely explain plenty about yourself and your circumstances. Please feel free to contact me if you are flexible about your move in date and aren’t in need to move asap, I simply don’t have time to to be rushed in to a decision to share my space with someone who’s all cool now and then isn’t interested to do things together occasionally or ever.

This place suits my life perfectly with the need to be in town and with the transportation links it’s hard to beat for convenience and affordability, i feel this place is the perfect inexpensive chill zone where we can stop in the big smoke have the occasional cup of tea or glass something a bit stronger haha!

We are currently using the spareroom Lodger’s licence agreement (no tenancy offered that being clear) I feel it’s flexible and safe way to guarantee your occupancy of the room during the agreed licence period while I decide you to be a resident or not. The security deposit is only £400 and represents just under 2 weeks single occupancy plus the first months upfront, so essentially only likely tied in for 6weeks but which I believe is a fair amount of time to decide. If you show mutually if it’s a good fit, also if your unsure about how long or if things change before i decide you’re staying long term. So it’s also flexible so we are sure you enjoy living with me as much as I’d hope to enjoy living with you.
