I'm looking for a flatmate to take a spacious double room in a two-bedroom flat in Cathays. The flat is just a few minutes walk from the Maindy Centre (it has a gym, swimming pool, etc) and it's within walking distance to most University buildings. This third-floor flat doesn't face the main road, so it's nice and quiet.

You will enjoy a spacious double room, your own bathroom (with a bathtub), and a very bright shared living room and kitchen. There are two small storage rooms in the flat and two parking spaces assigned to the flat in the car park downstairs. The flat is furnished and well-maintained. I have been living here for two years (and loving it). My current flatmate is moving to get closer to her workplace so I'm looking for someone to take over her room.

I am currently in the middle of doing a PhD in cognitive neuroscience. Happy to have a flatmate who is professional or a postgraduate student. I'm tidy and clean and would like to live with someone similar in that aspect. I'm sociable and friendly, not a party animal. I enjoy reading, singing, jigsaw puzzles, and (before the lockdown) fencing and going to movies/plays/exhibitions. A vegetarian flatmate would be great but not a must (I'm vegan).

The tenancy will be 12 months long and can become a rolling contract after that. The flat is available from 06/09/20 (earliest move-in date 02/09/20). The rent includes water bill. If you are interested or would like more information please contact me! :)
