Hi! We are a friendly, relaxed household in Sale, looking for an additional lodger. The household is me, my son (19) and two other lodgers (1 male, 1 female). We've got lots of different interests including sports, health and fitness, reading, music, Netflix, cooking, and seeing friends. In coronavirus times a couple of us work from home, at least some of the time. There's plenty of space and the internet connection is good.
A double room is available, with double bed, wardrobe, chests of drawers and shelf unit, laminate flooring. There's a shared bathroom (shower, toilet, basin, cupboard) recently refurbished to a high standard and the furniture is new. There'd shared use of a large modern open plan lounge, dining area & kitchen, and shared use of the front and rear garden.
We'd like another lodger who would fit in with the house - open, friendly, reasonably tidy. We're happy to cook together or separately, whichever suits.
The house itself is clean and spacious - an extended five bed semi detached house in a quiet residential area between Sale and Altrincham, within 10 minutes walk of Timperley metrolink tram stop, and 2 minutes from the bus stop. There is plenty of on-street parking.
The local area has shops, restaurants & takeaways and parks. The Bridgewater Canal is 3 minutes walk from home, offering the opportunity to walk, run, cycle or row. From there you can walk into Sale town centre and ultimately Manchester City Centre, or the other way out into the Cheshire countryside.
