ROOM IS AVAILABLE FROM THE START OF AUGUST - TENANCY LENGTH NEGOTIABLE - CURRENT FLAT MATE IS LEAVING AT THE END OF JULY
THE FLAT
It is a two bedroom flat in Salford Quays, within a newish build from last November. The building itself, and the flat, as pet friendly, which was a big allure for my former flatmate as they owned a cat.
The nearest tram stop is just a few minutes across the road, and takes roughly 15-20 minutes to get into town. It is situated close to Media City and all it entails, such as the Lowery and various food-type places.
The flat itself is on the 9th (top) floor and comprises a living room with large windows that get light throughout the day, along with the relevant living room furniture included, the living room is adjoined to the kitchen/dining area which also come furnished.
The main bathroom has a bath/shower combo, along with everything else you would expect in a bathroom.
The bedroom on offer is a comfortable double and comes with a bed, built in wardrobe, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers, along with additional storage space underneath the bed if required. (Pictures are current state and will be updated as stuff is removed)
As part of the rental cost it covers the Virgin superfast wifi, and also includes access to the large communal area downstairs (which is frequently empty) and has masses of space, along with a pool/ping pong table (topper is placed on for ping pong), and also has a 'cinema room' and 'dining room' of its own. As well as the communal area, the rent also covers the onsite gym, and while it isn't extensively stocked, it does have a lot of the standard equipment, but should you require full gym facilities, there is a Pure Gym directly across the road.
The bills not included are electric and council tax, which come to roughly £100 each a month (would need to check this), meaning a monthly overall of roughly £660. However, I would need to find out the new council tax costs to check.
There is underground parking, but this is an additional monthly expense (£100) which I don't get as I do not own a car, but should you require it this is an option.
THE ME
I am a professional worker in the loosest of senses, I work the typical Mon-Fri 9-5, but do my best to avoid suiting up; my job gives me the flexibility to know I'm free in the evenings, and every weekend ♪
I'm an avid gamer, be it video or board, by which I mean the likes of Colt Express, Flux, Pandemic, and Exploding Kittens to name but a few. So if those mean something to you, awesome, we're off to a good start! :D
I'll be blunt with you: I'm an avid gamer, a manga reader, a convention goer, and cosplayer. If you're a big sports and house party person we will not mesh well. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a shut in, I enjoy paintball outings, bowling, rock climbing, and escape rooms, as well as hitting the gym/aerial, and a night out at Satan's Hollow with my friends; but planting myself in front of Netflix, my PS4, or sitting down to play D&D is also a good evening to me; however we're talking about the flat, not how I spend my evenings and weekends, but just letting you know what what to expect~ :P
