Double bedroom with built in wardrobe. Second largest bedroom in the property. Furnished with bed, bedside table and chest of drawers if wanted.

The room is bright, and can easily fit in more furniture as well as having space to fit a desk in. We keep the house nice and warm.

Happy for tenant to decorate as long as agreed with landlord.

The Home:
-Semi Detached home on a quiet street in Moredun/Gilmerton area.
-Large communal kitchen, separate living room, toilet and bathroom with 2 housemates (Kitchen and Bathrooms recently refurbished)
- Utility with washing machine and tumble dryer
-Very large garden which is great for bbq, fire pit, sun bathing (if the weather allows!) and hot tub
- We often board dogs, so it is important the tenant likes dogs
- We have a weekly cleaning rota for communal areas. We all respect these areas and keep them clean and tidy for others to enjoy. We are looking for someone who is also clean and tidy.

-Large shed where there would be space for tools and 1 bike or other sports equipment
-Large attic for additional storage

The bus stop is a few minutes walk and takes 20 - 25minutes to reach the Bridges in centre of town.

A short walk to a number of supermarkets including a large Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl (10 minute). Smaller shops include, Scotmid with PostOffice, Key Store, Spar, Bakery & Pharmacist.

Alice:
I am 27 and from Dumfries and Galloway in SW Scotland. I am the landlord and live at the property, I am 27 and work from home the majority of the time. I run two businesses. The first is PetStay which is a home boarding business for dogs, so there is often lovely dogs to keep us company. The second is a part of my families fish business. I started up in lockdown and is now my full time job. I deliver fresh fish across Edinburgh and the Lothians as well as running fresh fish markets.

I love playing rugby, playing music, and doing anything outdoors! I love trying out new sports and love a bit of adrenaline. We are a social bunch as well as hardworking. We normally like heading out dancing or for casual beers at the weekend pre covid! I love cooking (with wine or gin in hand) and having a good bbq in the summer with friends in the garden. We often eat together but not always.

Gemma:
Is 26 years old and grew up in Dumfries and Galloway too. She is currently in her first year of studying Occupational Therapy at Queen Margaret University. She is a part time care worker across town in Leith. Gemma is the cleanest person in the house so will keep you in tow! Gemma has recently got into cycling and likes walking. She has recently been converted to drinking red wine and can always be relied on if you fancy a cheeky glass!

Casey:
Our very own Aussie living at Goodtrees. She travelled over here just under a year ago to play rugby and travel. Little did she know covid was going to limit that! Casey has been a great addition to the house and is currently working part time at a nursery. She currently helps me out with fish markets and PetStay. Casey is a keen bean for fitness and will love any participation in her home work outs. She has trouble forcing us to join. She is an amazing baker so there is often delicious cakes and tray bakes for the house mates :D Casey also has a good eye for art. We often get the paints out and seems to end up us painting fish for the Nauticwall in the house!

The new housemate:
We are looking for someone who is going to slot in well with us and want to spend time hanging out and doing things together. Although we all respect each others privacy, own time and we all lead our own lives. We would like the housemate to have similar interests and it is necessary that they are clean and tidy. The only animal we could potentially consider is a well trained and behaved dog. If you are interested we can chat further and answer any questions you have. We could then arrange a zoom call and take it from the if both parties are interested.
