I have been offering 2 rooms to post graduate students and visitors to Edinburgh who come for work or the Festival in my 4 bedroom top floor Marchmont flat for over 25 years. The flat has a quiet and and relaxed homely atmosphere and is spacious enough to allow for privacy . I am a documentary filmmaker and work from home , have a cat and regular visits from my 3 year old grandson . Due to the pandemic, I haven’t had any lodgers for the past year and will still need to be careful and take safety into consideration . At the moment If you are working in an environment with lots of other people this would probably not be appropriate .I am happy to consider short term term lets over the coming months .
The flat is close to the Meadows, The University and easy walking distance to the city centre as well as Blackford Hill and Arthurs Seat.
