Our apartment is perfectly located in the trendy, vibrant London district of Bermondsey. Walking distance from the City itself and minutes’ walk from London Bridge station and the iconic attractions of Tower Bridge, The Shard, gourmet food Borough Market and the South Bank. What setting could be better? This really is a lovely place to call home even if you are here just for a day!

The apartment is cosy and very spacious, situated on the 4th (top) floor of an apartment building.
The door downstairs has a fob access and there is a lift.
The double room has a very high ceiling, four double-glazing windows, Double-glazing windows reduce the traffic noise to a minimum level, yet do not cut out the noise completely (if one prefers sleeping with the windows open, or is a very sensitive sleeper, then ear plugs might/should be considered).
There is fully equipped kitchen if you prefer cooking at home. We do not eat meat and highly appreciate if meat is not cooked in the kitchen, yet you can enjoy ham on toast or pre-prepared meals (meat) brought from outside.
We have bean to cup coffee machine.
We have got shower over bath in the shared bathroom (only shared with the host).
There is a fast internet in the flat.
The flat is fully carpeted so we don’t wear shoes indoors.
The apartment is very warm however there is an extra electric heater in the room.

Our apartment is located just a few minutes (20 min) walk from the Shard, London Bridge Underground station, Bermondsey Station (10 minutes), Borough Market and the Southbank. The bus stop is just on our doorstep. N78 takes you to the City of London (Liverpool St Station) via Tower Bridge and N1 to Holborn (Covent Garden) via Elephant and castle and Waterloo.
There is a Sainsbury's Local for essentials and food and Tibetan Buddhist community/meditation centre just across the small park from our apartment.
Trendy, über-cool and modern Bermondsey Street and the Square are just 5-7 minutes walk from our apartment. The Bermondsey street is full of fantastic restaurants, bars and cafés.

Host Alex is keen on healthy, active life style. Alex is working from home as a kitchen/bathroom designer and massage and reiki therapist. I love travelling, jogging, good music, yoga and our lazy Saturday breakfast on Borough Market.
