We are looking for a new housemate for our lovely Brockley household!

The room is on the first floor, with views towards the garden , that comes furnished with a double bed, shelving space and a wardrobe frame. The house is a 4-bedroom, Victorian three storey house, with a large living room with large TV linked to on demand and Netflix (no channel TV) , a music/yoga room, a good size kitchen and two WCs. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, gas stove all in good shape. We have a great garden with a gas BBQ, a breakfast patio and hammock! Located 10 minutes brisk walk from either Brockley, New Cross, Deptford Bridge or St Johns stations with bus stops, grocery stores and a good Indian restaurant just around the corner.

You'll be sharing the house with an artist, a software consultant and a lighting designer. We work irregular schedules, but when we are in the house we are all homely, meaning: we keep it clean and tidy, we cook meals, we grow vegetables in the garden, we Netflix, and we arrange the occasional party/BBQ/ group meal/ drinks.

We are looking for someone likeminded who will see the house as a home rather than a stopover. Apart from being cleanly and not an angry egotist we don't have any demands set in stone, but an interest in culture, a love for music, green fingers and cooking skills are all big pluses! Smoking is not allowed inside.

Official takeover date would be 17th May but dates are negotiable and flexible. The rent for the room is £500 per month, with all bills (incl. gas, electricity, water, council tax and internet) coming to an average of £100 pm on top of that.
