Double room available in a lovely flat near Newington and the Grange, equipped with washing machine and dishwasher! It's located about 1 mile away from Kings Buildings campus and the Meadows, 0.5 mile from Holyrood Park and has good bus connections to the city centre.

I have the other room. I am a PhD student (28F) and have been living in Edinburgh for about 2 years. I like keeping my space tidy, but I'm not too fussed about a bit of mess every once in a while. I would expect a similar attitude from my flatmate. I would describe myself as social and outgoing, I like travelling, hiking, and meeting friends for drinks, but I am also a curious person with lots of love for learning, so I appreciate a good conversation about pretty much anything: science, politics, philosophy, you name it!

I would prefer to live with another female or NB person, either another mature student or young professional but in the later case they should be okay with covering the council tax (Band D). I appreciate a nice atmosphere at home, so I am happy to socialise with my flatmate (inside or outside the house), but completely fine if you like your space (life can get busy).
