Two pleasant rooms in a 4 bed detached Edwardian home, near to Twickenham and St Margaret's stations. The 267 bus goes past the house.

Single room
In the cosy single room, there is a very comfy kingsize ottoman bed (storage underneath), shelves and lamp at side of bed, double wardrobe, small chest of drawers and a chair. There are also extra hooks on the wall and a high deep shelf over the wardrobe. The bedroom is at the far end of the landing.

Double bedroom
This double bedroom is a decent size, with a very comfy kingsize ottoman bed as above. There are shelves, a wardrobe, bedside table, lamp and a wall mount for a tv. Additional furniture eg a chair and desk can be supplied.

Shower room
There is a separate shower room for lodgers with a powerful overhead shower, and a hand held shower. There is also a family bathroom which could be used on occasion if your preference is for a bath.

The house
The house has a large hall (room for coats). There is a large eat-in kitchen with laundry facilities, semi-open plan to the dining room and sitting room. I tend to use the sitting room in the evenings. I also spend a lot of time in my front room which doubles as my office. This room has a piano which you are welcome to play if I am not working. I am not musical but my middle son and daughter are.

There is also parking available and a store room for a bike.

The house is in a lovely area with all the cafes, pubs, and shops of St Margarets nearby as well as Twickenham High Street and Richmond. Moormead Park is round the corner, Marble Hill Park and the river are a 15 minute walk. The house is 10 minute walk from Twickenham Film Studios.

I am a single parent with three young adult children. My 25 year old son lives in Wales and comes home about every 6 weeks. My 23 year old son lives in Putney with his musician friends. My daughter is at Uni studying Theatre and Performance. The house is quiet without them - I am used to their friends coming and going and band practice!

I work from home mostly in business development but also travel for work. I'd like to find lodgers who are reasonably sociable and pleasant to live with but also respectful of the fact that this is my home. I am very friendly, enjoy chatting but we all need our privacy too.

Occasionally I have friends over for dinner. I love the theatre, walking and cycling (not hardcore), swimming, reading, and catching up with friends and family. I like to travel and I speak french.

I don't mind if you are a student, professional or just someone looking for somewhere to stay Mon-Friday. The most important thing is that you can feel relaxed here and I feel comfortable sharing my home with you. Oh, and you don't mind when my children and their friends turn up! I look forward to hearing from you.
