I am a 36 year old professional looking to let out my spare room midweek. This would suit someone with a hybrid working arrangement, looking for an overnight place in London, perfectly.
The flat is relatively newly built and newly decorated and furnished (by me and friends!). It's spacious, quiet and light, and I keep it clean and tidy. The bedroom is a good size and I'm happy to discuss what further furniture is required (desk, valet/hanging space etc). There is the main bathroom which is largely for guest/lodger use - I have an en suite shower room. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment (and some luxuries eg Nespresso machine), and allocated space in the cupboards and fridge.
The flat is in Norbury, a short walk from the station (zone 3, with trains to Balham, Victoria, London Bridge and the Olympia/Milton Keynes line). Streatham station (Thameslink to Luton via Blackfriars/Farringdon). Brixton and Central Croydon are easily accessibly by bus. The flat is really well located for people working in Zone 1, Croydon or most local hospitals (King's, St Thomas', Guys, St George's, CUH).
Norbury has a busy high street with handy shops, nice cafes and take aways and there are green outside spaces nearby (Norbury Park, Streatham Common). The flat itself is quiet and the view out the windows is green, although it's only a minute from the high street.
I work in the NHS and cook and spend evenings at home probably about half the time (a bit more during COVID). I am working from home at least three days a week at the moment. I'm looking for a lodger who will be self-sufficient but also friendly as the kitchen and living room is open plan so we would be sharing the space.
Please get in touch if this sounds like the kind of arrangement that would suit you. The price quoted is for one night per week, additional nights would be commensurate with this:
1 night - £180 per month
2nights - £360 per month
3 nights - £540 per month
4 nights - £720 per month
