Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, only 7 mins door-to-platform walk away from the Abbey Wood station and the Sainsbury's superstore.

The room for rent is in a semi-detached house with a spacious garden. Shared spaces include the living room, the bathroom, the kitchen and the home gym. You are welcome to use any of the equipment in the kitchen area, including pots and pans, toaster, pressure cooker/rice cooker, microwave, oven, dual-chamber airfryer, Ninja 15-in-1 multicooker, Nespresso coffee maker (pods not provided), and De'Longhi bean-to-cup automatic coffee maker (milk and coffee beans not included in the rent). We subscribe to Virgin Pure (at no cost to you), so you can enjoy instant hot/cold purified water from the kitchen. The home gym consists of a 100 kg multi-gym, a treadmill, and a cross trainer.

We have a lovely lady who comes once a week to clean the communal areas, so no shared house chores. However, we do ask you to clean up after yourself where needed - e. g., wipe off any obvious splash after cooking, take hair out the bath tub drain after showering, take your room's rubbish directly to the outside bin etc. We have a large garden and a kind gardener who takes care of it, so, there is no shared responsibility for the garden.

The spacious double room comes fully furnished with a double bed (with underbed storage), a very comfortable combined memory foam and spring mattress, a large wardrobe, a desk with drawers and a chest of drawers. Not showing in the photo, but we have just added a new ergonomically designed desk chair to the room.

Bills are included (gas, electricity, water, council tax and optic fibre broadband). You are also welcome to use our Netflix, NowTV, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ subscriptions linked to the 50" TV in the living room. The use of air-conditioner in the living room over summer is also included.

We have two huskies named Taco and Belle, and one cat named Kitty Monroe in this residence. The huskies are very friendly, and they stay downstairs. The kitty lives upstairs (and goes outside) and we have found that she likes to alternate sleeping with us and our housemate during nighttime.

We are looking for someone who loves animals and we have a strong preference for someone who works from home. We expect our housemate to treat the small animals in the residence like their own.
