Affordable accommodation offered in BEXELY, SE28 area, excellent opportunity for a Female preferred Homesharer who is looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help, support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
The closest station is 7 minute drive to Abbey Wood is a National Rail station in Abbey Wood in southeast London and is in Travelcard Zone 4. It is between Plumstead and Belvedere stations on the North Kent Line. It is 11 miles 43 chains measured from London Charing Cross, with services to central London routed via Greenwich or Lewisham.
Bexleyheath railway station, in the London Borough of Bexley in South East London, and is in Travelcard Zone 5. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Southeastern, trains you can get into central London in 40 minutes.
It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, buses 401 and B12 take 36 minutes to the Bexleyheath station, and it takes 12 minutes by car to the station
The closet shops are a 7 minute drive to the High Street, Morrison Supermarket

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely gentleman in his 80's he lives in a 2 bedroom house with a nice conservatory and garden.
His mobility is ok as he is weak which has happened due to him being lonely so he does not eat regularly and is not going out much due to covid and his weakness, he would like someone who could go for walks with him once he gets his strength back. He spends most of his day watching TV mainly documentaries and some dramas, he also enjoys reading.
He is looking for someone who can cook an evening meal he enjoys Caribbean food, salads and happy to eat other foods too and he would enjoy having company sitting and eating meals together, having a cup of tea and chatting, also he would like some help with the shopping, he has a car and would be happy for a homesharer to use the car and take him shopping, help around the house is also needed.

ACCOMMODATION
Spacious 2 bed house with shared facilities the living room/dining room, kitchen and a conservatory. He also has a nice garden.
The homesharer will have a double bedroom with a double bed. Built in Wardrobe, Bookcase, and a Desk.
Internet will be available

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
