YOUR ROOM
A lovely double bedroom with two windows offering plenty of natural daylight, in our 3 bed flat in Tooting Bec. It is also a great size compared to so many others I have seen in the immediate area and for the price.

The room is fully furnished with double bed, large wardrobe with mirror, chest of draws, and side table + lamp. It is completely ready to go! It is heated well through the winder, and nice and airy for the warmer summer months.
The previous housemate had a great set up with a desk facing the window for working from home comfortably.

CURRENT HOUSEMATE
I am in my early 30s and am looking for someone chilled and considerate to move into a home where
I have lived for 6 years. I’d like someone respectful and tidy, but really someone who is wanting a home, not just a resting place! In 'normal life' I am busy at work 5 days p/week and spend my evenings exercising, playing tennis., eating out, exploring the wonderful gems of London. Currently I am working from home full time from my bedroom, and going into the office 1-2 days p/week, so you will then have the place to yourself :)
I have no preference on male/female, it makes no difference to me and like I say it just needs to be someone easy going to share a btl of wine or a cuppa in the evenings, and gossip about the day gone by.

THE FLAT
Shared kitchen + living area with TV with all the usual channels, + netflix and Amazon Prime, all included in your rent. We have a kitchen + freezer and ample cupboards for storgae.
We are a first floor flat, beneath a handy convenience store, our 'cellar' as it likes to be known. As well as an awesome cafe Kitchen Table should you only wish to walk 10 steps outside for a lovely bite to eat.

I have a few plants (growing in numbers) dotted around and am more than more than happy for a new housemate to bring whatever they like to decorate /embellish as they see fit.

THE AREA
Tooting is really fabulous and exciting, with so many great restaurants, pubs, and not forgetting tooting market with an abundance of eclectic food to try, just 10 minute walk down the road. We are just a 3 minute walk (or 1minute run!) to Tooting Common, so although we do not have a garden here at the flat, the common pretty much feels like your own huge garden to play in!

THE LANDLORD
This is privately managed so no pesky agents to deal with, you will liaise with him directly and he is fantastic. The few times we have needed anything repaired or replaced he has done so immediately.

Really, if you are looking for somewhere relaxed with no dramas, and in a great location in Tooting, you can't go wrong. There is 'no catch' with the low rent, it's just a wonderful bargain that you shouldn't pass up.

Am more than happy to arrange virtual video viewing in the first instance whilst we are stuck in this lockdown palava.
