A small double room with a double bed but very comfortable and a well appointed room which has excellent storage solutions which includes; shelving, hanging space, huge underbed storage, drawers, dropleaf desk and Smart TV. Plus super fast 1GB fibre optic broadband.
The deposit can be spread over 2 months if required.

PLEASE NOTE: Bermondsey tube station does not show up on the Spareroom "Find on map" function but I assure you it's there.

We're a very friendly and respectful bunch of flatmates. Love a chat over a beer or 3 or Monopoly and we're looking forward to welcoming a new housemate.
We do however also respect your needs for your own space too. This is not a drug or a party house it's quiet and a safe space.

(1) Gay friendly, currently we're a mix of gay and straight happily together.
(2) This is first and formost our home not a bedsit or a hostel atmosphere.
(3) 6 months min contract but really want someone looking longer-term ideally.
(4) No couples. One person per room, sorry guys.
(5) No benefit claimants sorry.
(6) Area is very well connected by tube (Bermondsey/Jubilee line) and buses; 47, 1, N1, 188, N188, P12, 381, N381, literally minutes to the City/ Canary Wharf/ West End /Camden/
Southbank/ Hamstead etc by bus, tube or train.
Southwark Park, Shad Thames, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Canada Water, Borough Market, Bermondsey beach 10 to 15 mins walk so the flat is very central.
(7) NO DRUGS NO PARTY HOUSE.

(1) Looking for someone in full time work.
(2) Maturity (in one's behaviour not age necessarily)
(3) Good sense of humour a clean, tidy flatmate (but equally not OCD about it) who is respectful of both personal space and shared areas respectively.
(4) Someone who wants a longer term home not an ok for now!

The guys here are all mostly long term lodgers/friends, most of several years, Which must be a good sign I guess.

We are friendly and sociable but not in each others pockets either. "respect" is the keyword for us this covers every possible scenario from cleaning to noise to guests etc.

(1) myself Damien (English) 55yrs formerly British Airways Cabin Crew for 35 yrs now retired..
Then there's;
(2) Katerina (Czech) 24yrs who works at a West End theatre. And there's
(3) David (Irish) 26 yrs who works for the London Ambulance telephone response team.
(4) My Partner of 21 yrs Tomasz (Polish) 45yrs a graphic designer, then
(5) Francisco (Equadorian) 28yrs who works in hospitality in the city

We are a mix of gay and straight but not exclusively and will happily welcome people from any community. Were Very open warm, kind, supportive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoy eachothers company. Watching TV, chatting with a drink or playing Monopoly on the patio in the Summer or the living room in the Winter.

For me It's not only about filling rooms quickly for money.. It's our home so before I invite you for a viewing I need you to answer the following;
(2) If you have a spareroom profile great but if not please tell me about yourself include your;
(3) Include; sex, sexuality, age, employment, part time/full time/student/work from home/ 9 to 5 or shift working. Include your shift patterns.
It's important to me I have the correct balance of all of the above.
(4) Your interests and of course what you want and expect from me/us.
