The housemates so far consist of 3 girls and 3 guys, age 20-24, studying illustration, drawing, mining, graphics, journalism, and marine vertebrate ecology. The Landlord (me!):
I live locally, and was a student here myself several years ago. I aim to offer better value for money and provide a better service than agencies or out-of-town landlords can possibly provide. I strive to be conscientious, easy to contact, flexible when issues arise, and able to respond to problems quickly. I completed postgraduate studies at the Penryn campus, and now work there as a bioscience researcher. I have been a landlord for 8 years so I have a good knowledge of what makes a good house, and hopefully a good landlord :) I am a member of the Cornwall Responsible Landlord Scheme and National Landlord Association. This house was inspected last year and the council gave me very positive feedback. I live less than 3 minutes from the property and can be contacted by phone/email at any time. I like to deal with problems quickly and really push for open and efficient communication between tenants and myself. I strongly dislike landlords who actively seek ways to keep tenants deposits and prefer to sort issues as they occur through honest communication.
