I am looking for three, ideally professional and preferably female tenants for a very beautiful house in Flushing, near Falmouth. The house has been recently refurbished and decorated to a high standard and would suit people who are bothered about the aesthetics of their living environment. It has been furnished and equipped as a holiday let and so is extremely comfortable and full of lovely maps, charts, pictures, books and furniture.
There are three bedrooms: one is very large with kingsize bed, and has a gorgeous ensuite with copper bath, overhead and hand showers, toilet sink and bidet. The other two available rooms are a kingsize and a double, and they share bathroom facilities with one other tenant (already in the property), which are a wet-room with shower and sink, a bathroom (bath, shower, sink and toilet) plus another separate toilet; there is also an outdoor toilet in the backyard.
All rooms have excellent mattresses, wardrobe space and other storage options, and each has either a desk or table; two of the rooms have TV aerial points.
Downstairs, there is a spacious shared sitting room with two deep comfy sofas, an open fire and TV and DVD player; a dining room with many books( as all over the house), a large table, chaise longue and woodburning stove; and a large kitchen diner, with long table, Aga, microwave, fridge freezer, washer and dryer, and everything else one would expect of a well-equipped kitchen, like good pans, cooking equipment, utensils, glassware and crockery.
The house also has a wonderful hillside garden, a leafy front yard and two sun trap terraces for those who like being outdoors; there is space to safely store bikes and surfboards etc. The village has lots of free parking, two excellent pubs which both serve food, a restaurant and a small shop. It is a particularly picturesque village and has its own beach, where the water is clear (this is a conservation area and AONB) and safe for swimming, surrounded by hills, fields and woods, so great for outdoor pursuits of all kinds. A foot ferry runs to Falmouth on the opposite bank of the river twice hourly, and Falmouth itself is full of shops and restaurants and many amenities, including three railway stations (though the closest is Penryn, on the same line to Truro). Truro is twenty minutes away by car.
I would like the house to be loved as it has been loved by me, and looked after in the state it is currently in- she is a very old house and has been carefully made into a really great place to live; there are good, local cleaners who can help with this. You can get as much peace as you wish for here, but there are plenty of amusements close by too.
Most bills are included( water, oil, high-speed broadband and electricity) but council tax is not included. The house operates an oil boiler that runs on a timer twice a day.
I have to move temporarily to be closer to elderly relatives, and it is important that the house is enjoyed and loved in my absence. If you wish to live in great comfort surrounded by beautiful things, with as much peace as you wish for, then this may be the one for you!!!
I look forward to hearing from you...
