Lovely georgian house and garden in beautiful riverside village with two pubs, shop, sailing and pilot gig clubs, beach, bus links to various and daily ferries to falmouth.
There's best of all worlds here; town and country, village, river and sea-and the city of Truro twenty minutes away, amongst all the other beauties Cornwall has to offer.
The room is freshly decorated with a very comfortable kingsize bed and small desk, plus wardrobe space and window seat.
The house is warm, eccentric and very comfortable, full of books, maps, pictures and music(we also love radio six).We would ideally want people who like what we like(see above) and who are friendly, kind and considerate, as are we, plus each having a measure of respect for privacy for all of us. We are a small busy bunch and there is a large shared kitchen with long table and aga, and a sitting/dining room with log burning stove for everyone to share. There is a bathroom(bath, hand shower, basin and lavatory),plus a wetroom(shower and sink) to share between three, plus another two lavatories for all, one inside, one out (two of us already share an ensuite which is separate from the above).There is a yard front and back, plus two sun terraces(ha!!)and a beautiful back garden(only partially reclaimed..)We've done up the house thoroughly and recently ourselves and are proud of what a lovely place to live it has become, so would expect people to respect it, clean up rapidly and keep it in good nick all the time. We are relaxed and like all sorts, as long as you really resonate with what we have stated above. We are often peaceful and sometimes noisy and you may expect very good music and some passable shared food(as two of us are qualified chefs).Sometimes we work early and sometimes late but would endeavour to treat all comers as we also like to be treated: mostly quietly...
Some other house features are washing machine and dryer, fast broadband throughout, telly in dining room, free village parking and lots more; its a gorgeous place to live.
