PLEASE NOTE: the listed £400pcm rent is not the actual contacted rent - I am in desperate need of a replacement tenant, so I am able and willing to pay the remaining £185pcm to make the room more easily available.
I'm looking for a replacement tenant for the housing contract I'm currently on - I was intending to live there while at university this year but have ended up taking a year out, and so will not be living there for the rest of the academic year. Therefore, my place is open for a new tenant until the end of July - anyone taking the room would be signing a new contract with the letting agency in my place. The tenancy for next academic year is not yet full either, so there is a possibility that you'll be able to sign on for the next tenancy cycle as well.
The room is a basement room, and has not been used at all in my absence, and so is in excellent condition. It has functioning heating, reasonably good pre-existing furniture, and one of the most reliable WiFi connections in the house. None of the rooms have direct wired internet, but the current tenant have already set up a Powerline network, so that can be used instead.
There are no restrictions as to whether a tenant would be a student or in employment, but the other six tenants are students (one on a placement year), so you would have to be fine with living with students. You would also have to be LGBT+ friendly, as not only are many of the current tenants non-heterosexual, but many are also transgender. Following on from that, you would also need to be up for arranging a meeting with the other tenants prior to signing on, because they will need to agree to the new tenant before signing a revised contract.
Please note that this is technically a student house, and as such the listed rent does not account for council tax.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
