We are a young professional family with two young kids living in a modest 5 bed house in the Camden area of Bath.

Simon is a software engineer and I work for a language school.

We have been renting rooms to students for years now and so we are very used to sharing our home.

The kitchen is not as spacious as someone with my love for cooking would like, so we prefer to cook for our guests instead of slotting you in to do your own cooking as we use this space constantly. I  cook a variety of food with high quality ingredients, a lot of fresh fruit and veg, organic dairy and good quality meats (often organic too).

We rent out 3 rooms, one single (listed here) and two doubles. They  are located on the top floor with an almost separate entrance. There is also a separate bathroom on this floor for the sole use of our guests (we have another bathroom on our floor and a toilet downstairs in the kitchen/living room).The first double is occupied by a lovely Spanish Erasmus student at Bath University studying IT and maths who is staying with us until June and the second one is occupied by a lovely German PHD student in statistics at Bath University who has happily lived with us for the last two years.

They both join us for dinner every evening (apart from rare occasions when they dine out with friends)

The rate for half board (breakfast and dinner included) is £6 per day on top of the room rate (this just about covers the cost of ingredients).

This includes food (breakfast provisions organic milk, fresh fruit, cereals, wholegrain bread, good quality jam, honey, etc + freshly cooked dinner - cooked with lots of fresh veg, organic chicken, fresh fish and good quality meats)  (all bills included including fast internet)

We cook a variety of dishes with plenty of vegetables and fresh ingredients.

As a family we like relaxing together as well as going out. We run a busy but happy household. The beauty of our house is in its layout with the guest rooms separated from the living spaces so they are very quiet and beautifully secluded from our happy family madness!
