I have a double bedroom with spectacular views and direct access to the terrace to rent out come October. This is for a single person and MONDAY to FRIDAY only.
I live in a beautiful house with a large terrace to just chill or be, a garden to grow salad if that is what you like, a shared kitchen /dining area, a living room with a clavinova, (ie headphones could be used to practise) a fairly new bath room and extra toilet. I live here with my lodger, but I also have a 20 year old daughter who stays here at times and a son who is studying in London. I am 55, a languages teacher in a secondary school.
The house is big, it has 4 bedrooms and a study on two floors. I just love living here.
In my spare time I like arts and crafts, have a workshop in my garage, There is also space for a bike, but car parking is restricted to residential only. I also sing in choirs (or used to)and I like all kind of music, I like cycling, sports, being outside. My house is usually not a party house, although I might have friends round, and is pretty clean and tidy.
I live near Preston Park station so only 3 minutes by train to Brighton, or 10 minutes by bike to anywhere. I have a cat called Shiva.
I am looking for a professional or mature student to share my house with. In winter- like any other house in England, the heating is on in the Morning and in the evening only. This beautiful room would be suitable for somebody who works in Brighton during the week, but has their own place to go back to on the weekend. I look forward to hearing from you. .
