We have a lovely, unfurnished room available in a house share of 5 for a mature and friendly person over 25yo.
We’re on Picton street, which is the hub of Montpelier with Stokes Croft, shops and bakeries on your doorstep.

The bedroom available is a medium sized double on the ground floor at the front of the house. It’s a lovely room but is street level and the area can have loud moments so it’s not for the noise sensitive / light sleepers /anxious / those reliant on guaranteed quality sleep for their waking commitments. It’s otherwise tranquil and for those not affected by disturbances it’s a nice room in a lush home.

On the 1st floor there’s a large bathroom (shared by 4) with free standing clawfoot bath and separate shower – pretty swish. Downstairs is a large kitchen & loo, and a large and light living room with doors out to a garden where some pet rabbits live.

You’ll be living with a mixed household of 3 women and 1 guy (who isn’t here much) in our late 20s to 30s. We work in the third sector, education, and with animals, and have interests in wine, art, crafts, gigs, surfing, film, vintage and politics – we like to complain about the state of the world over coffee in the morning. Occasional dinners together, drinks in the garden and evenings in the pub encouraged.

It’s a great house and we try to keep it a nice environment to be in so we’re after someone who is good at taking responsibility for themselves and look after the place with us.

Some of us are now working from home 9-5, so we’re looking for someone who wants to keep the place relaxed mid-week.

Bills - £125 per month. Please note with rises in energy costs this will be reviewed again in October and we may need to increase payments. The bills include Energy, Water, BT Full Fibre internet, Council Tax, a cleaner and basic household supplies.
Rent - £335 rent - for medium sized double at front of house (the area can get riotous on the weekends, so the room is not for the noise sensitive),

6 months minimum contract (shared tenancy agreement)
You’re welcome to repaint and make the room your own
Terrible Montpelier parking options, residents permits available.
Internal bike racks currently fully occupied but arrangements are possible.
Close to local train line, major bus routes, and short walk to city centre for further transport options.
