I have a large double and a small double available in a well-appointed, stylish, comfortable and friendly Victorian house in south Leytonstone (Council Tax band E). Both rooms overlook the street.

The double sitting rooms downstairs stretch from front to back, divided by panel doors, giving onto a patio and south-facing garden with pond, trees, and raised vegetable beds; there's also a dining room, kitchen and downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs there is a bathroom with electric shower and four bedrooms.
We are on a main road, close to 58, 69 and 257 and N8 bus routes with 10minute access to Stratford, Leyton underground and Leytonstone mainline stations.

Location - The location is close to the Olympic Park on one side and Wanstead Flats on the other so is great for walking, cycling, running. Just round the corner are shops opening late. Parking is available at the front of the house.

Houseshare requirements - Our new housemate will be keen to become an active member of our community, not just wanting a lovely room in a beautiful house in a convenient location. We have a shared meal once a week often followed by a home movie. Applicants must be in fulltime employment (not students), sociable, outgoing, literate and cultured and follow a healthy, active lifestyle. Our new housemate will want to become part of a home and be keen to participate in regular communal events such as excursions to the theatre, concerts, walks, visits to the local pubs at least monthly
Also whoever joins us won't have any hang-ups about sharing with the landlord.
About me: I'm an entrepreneur involved in providing affordable accommodation to young professionals in east London and Norwich. I cycle and train regularly, practise yoga, love walking and the outdoors, gardening and birdwatching and am a classical music lover with a big library.
