Lovely room available in a friendly Victorian house in Leyton, 5 min to Central line.

We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our friendly Victorian house in Leyton.

The available room is on the top floor and is spacious, bright, and overlooks the garden. It is furnished and comes with a huge closet and plenty of room to make the space your own.

The house itself is huge and full of character with shared access to a living room, dining room, garden, and extra storage space in the cellar. There are two bathrooms — one upstairs and one on the ground floor.

Rent is £900 pcm, with bills coming to around £160 pcm per person. There is no deposit required.

We also have a cleaner who comes every two weeks to help keep shared spaces tidy, and we’re lucky to have a very responsive and lovely landlord.

You’d be living with three girls — Ffion (23), Irini (30) and me, Akvile (29). I’m in my last year of a PhD in colour naming, Irini works as a creative in the music industry, and Ffion is a paramedic. The vibe in the house is friendly but independent: we all enjoy a chat, occasional glass of wine or a trip to a local pub, while also having our own routines.

We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly household and are committed to keeping the home respectful, inclusive and safe for everyone. Thus, we have zero tolerance for any form of discrimination.

No couples, sorry.

Move-in date is 7th June.

There are currently no pets in the house, though I may potentially bring a British Shorthair cat from home in the future.
