Hey there, I’ve decided to rent a room out in my home as I’m splitting my time between Edinburgh and Glasgow and it seems a bit of a waste to not share this amazing house.

This will suit someone that likes a cosy countryside feel but also wants to be fairly close to the city. I have 2 rooms to rent so I’m considering renting out the other one as well, but seeing how it goes first. Anyone that moves in will have a say in the next lodger as I’m really keen on having a friendly, sociable environment. Finding the right person is more important to me than filling the room. I have a young son who will be about from time to time, but doesn’t live with me.

I’m looking for someone nice, sociable, fairly quiet and respectful. That’s pretty much how I’d describe myself too. I like all the usual things and as mentioned, will be away a fair bit so there’s plenty opportunity to have your peace and quiet!
