We have a single room available from August 1st. The room has a garden view, comes with furnished (with everything a student needs) and is a nice, bright space.

The house is located in an area of Wivenhoe shared between families and students. It is just a 5 minute walk from a parade of shops with a One Stop, fish and chips, pharmacy, hairdresser's and a bus stop to the University. The house is also a half an hour walk and a 5-10 minute bike ride (most of which is along a cycle route).

The house has a spacious living room with a 43" television and a Nintendo Wii. The bathroom has a wall mounted shower and a bath. The kitchen is large with a gas hob, ample storage and a dishwasher. It's a great kitchen for people who enjoy cooking. At the back of the house is a bright conservatory which doubles as a dining room. It also has a sofa which is a great place to lie down and read a book.

The garden has a bench to sit on and enjoy the sun, as well as two trees. There is also a contracted gardener who comes to mow the lawn and keep the garden tidy twice a week.

There is offroad parking on a driveway in front of the garage. Unfortunately, the garage is not meant to be used for vehicles, but can be used for storing bikes and a few extra bits, such as a suitcase.

Bills are not included with rent and come to about £50 a month. The water bill is payed once every three months, the energy and internet are payed for monthly.

Our only real requirement for a tennant is someone who is tidy in the shared spaces. We like to watch films and play games together too, and if you take join us on our tennancy, you are more than welcome to join us with that too!
