Very close to the university and 1 minute away from kelvinhall subway station. Rented under the rent a room scheme so there is a lodgers agreement to sign but no letting agency etc. Happy to do skype viewings.
Double glazed sash windows which were fully refurbished (new glass/ mechanism) 2 years ago so I've found this flat a lot warmer than other tenements. Nest mobile-control heating, and fibre optic super fast (there are more adjectives in it than that I’m sure) wifi included. We have a really lovely little garden too which gets sun until 4pm (have included a photo of me and my current flatmate in the garden cos its the only one I have sorry haha )
There is no private parking here but I’ve kept my car here for 2.5 years and the permit is £85 a year, the street is a dead end so there’s 9 spaces outside the flat front door.
Bedroom has a fitted window desk which is nice to study at.
This flat doesn't have a living room but it does have a little study which has a table and chairs and an armchair with a communal laptop for Netflix. It's cozy with fairy lights etc - but small so I don't want to false advertise that we have a full living room. I've tried to include as many photos of it as I can for clarity. Theres also a digital piano if you play (I'll practise with headphones).
There is a lot of storage in this flat, we have two little attic spaces above the bathroom and kitchen. They fit suitcases etc that you don't want to keep in your room. Theres also a large coat cupboard and draws for bedding etc in the living room. There’s a lot of art hanging in the flat and you’d be welcome to take stuff down/add your own. I'm a fourth year genetics student and my interests include art, music and the gym a few times a week, I also work so I'm busy a lot of the time but really appreciate cooking together and having a drink together. I keep my bedroom door open 90% of the time and me and my current flatmate just go in and out of each other’s rooms quite freely and obviously we have our own alone time too - if that sounds like the kinda vibe you like. I’ve lived with other people who never come out of their rooms and personally its just not nice in a 2 person flat. I like to keep the flat as clean as possible so would be nice to live with someone who likes to keep their flat nice rather than do big cleans once it gets grim, I try to use environmentally friendly cleaning products and washing stuff when I can. I’m also really into wild camping and occasional wild swimming so if that’s something you’re interested in then you’d be welcome to come with me :)
