It has good transport links - buses & trains to Glasgow city centre and it is convenient for Glasgow University - there is a bus stop next to the house and 2 train stations nearby for Strathclyde university.

Tenancy agreement - will be done through an estate agency.

Shopping/Food/Gym:

There is a small food store and Indian & Chinese take-aways just 1 minute walk away. The Gym, Coffee shops, and also Lidl & Morrisons supermarkets, fish & chip shop, pizza shop and local shopping area next to Anniesland train station is 12 minutes walk away.

Good transport links:

Bus - for reaching Glasgow University - there is a bus stop outside the house and also another bus stop on the Great Western Road are 10 minutes walk away.

Trains - for reaching the City centre - Kelvindale train station 5 walk minutes away. and Anniesland train station 12 is minutes walk away. From Anniesland station it is a 12 minute train journey to the city centre Queen Street / Central Station. From there you can get to Strathclyde university or trains to Edinburgh and other cities.

Walking - there are riverside walkways / running & cycle paths 5 minutes away. Glasgow Botanics 30 minute walk.

Cycling - by bicycle it is just 15 minutes to Glasgow University. Also Asda and Tesco are about 20 minutes walk away.

What I’m looking for in terms of ideal flatmate:



Looking to share with someone friendly, clean and tidy, and respectful of other people's personal space. I'm sociable but independent so equally happy to do sports or activities together or just do our own thing. No drinks/drugs/smoking/late night parties.

Currently I’m working from home. Neighbours are friendly and it's great for work/study and getting a good nights sleep. I'm looking for a peaceful/cosy/stress free living environment.



Financials:
Im summer (May to October) 
Around £550 per month including rent, council tax broadband and shared energy bills (this amount is based on current energy usage for 2 people).
In winter - around £600 due to increased energy bills (November to April)

Minimum term - ideally 3 months and flexible thereafter. Negotiable. I would prefer someone to stay more than 6 to 9 months.

A bit about myself:



IT Professional with Masters from Strathclyde University. Multi-lingual, multi-cultural, Like movies in different languages, cooking at home, spending time outdoors.

Clean and tidy but not obsessive. Enjoy time with other people and time alone. Also in my spare time I have career coached/mentored masters & phd students and graduates.

I have a large book collection but these days I prefer to spend time outdoors doing hillwalking & cycling.

I’m calm & easy going and usually busy doing my own things and I respect other peoples privacy.
