Double room:
£724pcm (en suite)

RARELY AVAILABLE! - sunny, spacious, fully furnished double room (single occupancy only) for short term 5 week let with male live in landlord, together with adjacent furnished office and lodger only bathroom for £724! (the lodger's bathroom is immediately adjacent to the lodger's bedroom) So you get lots of attractive, comfortably furnished private space to relax in as well as access to the lovely communal areas. The rooms come with lots of storage space and would be ideal for a mature single vegetarian or vegan student. The lodgings are not suitable for a couple.

Landlord – a part time university educator and mental health campaigner and vegan. Am looking for vegans or vegetarians preferably.

Located 3 minutes from lovely riverside walks on St Mary's Island, Medway. The lodgings are part of a vibrant, relaxing modern house, 15 minutes pleasant walk from the Medway universities, Dockside outlet with its many cafes and 2 gyms and the Historic Dockyard Chatham.

At £724pcm, you get cheaper and more private space offered than existing student accommodation such as at Liberty Quays or on campus and arguably, much pleasanter and congenial for study.

Shorter term lodgings available for £299 p/w for single person.

Utility bills, water, TV and internet are all included in the rent. Council tax is NOT included in this price and as the landlord is not required to pay council tax this would need to be factored in (students would not have to pay council tax in any case).

As well as the private rooms, the lodger will also have use of the stylish first floor including tastefully furnished lounge; mini library with balcony; capacious kitchen and dining room and sunny south facing mature garden - ideal for relaxing, eating during the summer months or doing yoga.

I would prefer a person who has few visitors. I am not looking for a couple to use the lodgings as their base. I have occasional visitors such as mum or friends and value my house as a quiet and harmonious retreat.

The ideal lodger would be someone whose social and romantic life doesn’t disturb this feeling of the house primarily as my sanctuary. They would be a pleasant, friendly, respectful and agreeable person I can get on with and someone who respects the house and me.

The lodger should be comfortable with diversity, including people from different racial backgrounds, sexual orientations, social classes and with trans people and also a vegan or vegetarian.

IMPORTANT: I 'm particularly looking for lodgers who are by nature extremely clean and tidy.

Just email me, and we can do an initial video call and take it from there :-)
