Well maintained, warm, comfortable house in a pretty street within a friendly community. It is a spacious Victorian terrace house that has been thoughtfully modernised to retain the character but make it into an easily maintained cheerful elegant home.
There is a family sitting room with comfy sofas and TV, an enormous kitchen/diningroom with a farmhouse kitchen table large enough for entertaining and everything an enthusiastic cook could need is tucked away in the extensive storage which includes a big pantry. Washing machine, drier, dishwasher, cooker, additional oven, microwave, two fridge freezers. Bathroom with bath and separate shower toilet and basin. 2 bedrooms have ensuites. There is an additional toilet and basin. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 will be free. They are spacious rooms with a double bed 2 double wardrobes and extensive drawer and underbed storage plus a desk and bookshelves and large comfy chair.
I live a few doors away and respond to queries or problems within the day. There is a weekly cleaner and all the cleaning materials and all the bills are included in the costs - unlimited gas and electricity, water council tax, fast broadband, TV licence. Double glazing throughout, central heating, fire/smoke alarms.
It takes 15/20 minutes to walk to the Universities, the RVI, the city centre or the Central station and metro. There are good shops and eating places within 2 minutes, a bus stop at the end of the terrace where you can get a bus into the city every 3 minutes and friendly neighbours who will welcome you into our small mixed community. I have an allotment next to the house and often leave fresh organically grown veg and fruit for the house. We are looking for someone who will appreciate this community feel, and enjoys a tidy clean home.
There are 2 tenants who look forward to welcoming a new housemates and send this message - We are a house of sociable young women with a variety of interests. Gillian works in translation and enjoys learning languages. She is fluent in Spanish and French. Annie is a vet working for a charity which provides care for sick and injured animals belonging to underprivileged owners.
As a house we share common interests in fitness, creativity, film & TV, music, cooking and cocktail making. We like to maintain a relaxed atmosphere, and are a supportive group. We are excited to welcome a like-minded housemate, and look forward to meeting someone new.
