Hi - I have a room for rent in my 2-bedroom first floor flat on Agar Grove, near Camden Square. The room is a good size, with plenty of sunlight all day and loads of storage space.
The room is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and an in-built wardrobe, bedside table, full length mirror, lamp, duvet/pillows/mattress protector. There’s plenty of storage – including under bed storage, and room for a desk in front of the window if needed
The flat has a spacious lounge with L shape sofa bed & dining room table, a new bathroom renovated earlier this year and a kitchen with breakfast table that overlooks the shared courtyard
The building has an entry system, the communal stairwell is newly refurbished and serves 6 flats (mostly families).
The flat is fully furnished with everything you would expect, including a dishwasher, M100 fibre broadband and fully equipped kitchen, and sofa bed in the lounge for guests. Please note there is no tv in the lounge
The flat location is perfect - Camden Road Overground is a 10mins walk away, Camden Town Underground Station (Northern line) & Caledonian Road (Piccadilly line) are a 15mins walk away, and Kings Cross is a 20min walk. Kentish Town High Street is less than 10minutes away as well. The 274 bus stops outside the flat, and 390 nearby, which gives easy access to the West End, Angel and Camden Town. It’s great to be so near to vibrant Camden but live in a safe & quiet residential street. The local pub is the Colonel Fawcett a 5minute walk away, with a good selection of drinks, outside areas and good comedy nights.
I work in finance (for a newspaper publishing company), and at the moment I’m working from home, although I hope to return to the office a few days a week. I spend my time in the evening cooking, going to the gym or meeting friends for drinks. I have quite a few cacti and plants in the flat, and usually have a DIY project on the go.
I am ideally looking for a professional or mature student, no couples, or pets. Somebody clean, tidy and considerate – who treats this as a home. Cleaning would be split, but as most of the flat is wooden floors, it doesn’t take much to keep clean.
Bills aren’t included, and are circa £170 each per month (although that doesn’t include a tv license since I don’t currently need one).
