Hi there! I’m a 33-year-old female healthcare professional, and I’m looking for friendly, tidy, and respectful female lodgers to rent out the double and single bedrooms in my home.
I’ve been housesharing since I was 19, so I'm very easygoing and used to communal living! In my free time, I love reading (I'm part of a local book club), playing badminton, grabbing coffee or dinner, and getting stuck into gardening and DIY projects during the summer. I also love hiking and traveling whenever I get the chance. If you're new to the area, I’d be more than happy to share a list of my favorite local cafes, spots to socialise, and beautiful nearby towns to visit!
The House & Location
The house is tucked away on a quiet, peaceful side street in High Heaton, making it a lovely retreat while still being incredibly well-connected:
Commuting: Just a 15-minute walk to the Freeman Hospital—ideal for healthcare staff!
Green Space: A beautiful 10-minute walk to Jesmond Dene park.
Shopping: 5–10 minute walk to Co-op and Sainsbury’s (Lidl is about a 25-minute walk).
Transport: A 5-minute walk to the nearest bus station/post office. The 38 bus runs every 15 minutes and gets you into Newcastle City Centre in about 10 minutes (depending on traffic). There's also another bus station 15 minutes away with routes heading out to Tynemouth and the coast.
Parking
While there is no private driveway, street parking is easily accessible. You can either use a visitor permit, or obtain a second residential permit directly from the council for £75.
Rent & Availability
All bills are included in the rent, and no deposit is required.
Availability: Rooms are available from now until mid-April 2027.
Note: My family visits for a month every year between April 15th and May 15th, during which we usually undertake some house renovations. Because of the mess and extra company, the tenancy will need to wrap up by mid-April.
House Vibes & Rules
I like to keep a clean, calm, and comfortable home. I usually do a deep clean of the house once a week myself. I'm looking for lodgers who are happy to tidy up after themselves, be considerate of shared spaces, and respect the house rules so we can all enjoy a lovely living environment.
