Short let – 12 min walk to city centre – available July and August – Double Room – £530 per month incl bills – open to shorter than 2 month sublets.

I am sub-letting my double room in my lovely, well-equipped 3 bedroom house on Meadow Lane. Meadow Lane is just off Iffley road, and is very close to the centre of Oxford and also the vibrant Cowley Road area.

The house is a 12 minute walk to central Oxford, and a 5 minute walk to the Cowley Road area which is home to Oxford's best shops, restaurants and bars (there is a large Tesco 5 mins walk away on Cowley Road). Meadow Lane is quiet and leafy, with lots of families living around the area, but still very central.

The house is available from 26th of June to around the 25th of August this year only – so available for two calendar months in total.

This room is not available for sharing couples, and we have a preference for a woman to take the room.

One of the current female tenants will be living in the house over this sublet, finishing up her doctorate.

We want someone who is tidy and clean, and respectful of others in the house share – particularly as the other housemate is finishing up her doctorate during this time.

This room would ideally suit a visiting student of researcher or someone between rentals in Oxford.

I am open to reasonable negotiations on the rent amount if someone appropriate is willing to take it for the whole two months.

The room has a shared bathroom with a bath and shower. The other tenant in the house during the sublet has an en suite, so this bathroom will likely only be used by you.

The room faces onto the back garden, so it is exceptionally quiet at night in an already quiet, but central location.

The kitchen is large and well-stocked with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer, kettle, toaster, etc.

The living room is large, very cosy, with 3 couches and a large tv.

The house has broadband and gas central heating.

There is a secure garage for bikes, and a private parking space at the front of the house with room for one car.
